Monreal London was founded by avid sports woman and trained fashion designer Stefanï Grosse to remove the boundaries between sport and fashion and change the way people perceive activewear. Over the last 5 years, Monreal has grown from a niche women’s tennis brand to an international luxury sportswear and athleisure company. The brand is sold at some of the world’s most prestigious retailers across Europe, US and Asia in both physical and online retail. Stockists include Harrods, Net-a-Porter, Selfridges, Neiman Marcus and Lane Crawford, as well as high-end sports specialists such as Bandier in the USA.
The Sales Operations assistant will help the Wholesale team with administrative tasks across Systems, Excel and Logistics, taking ownership of the reporting framework, systems architecture, data mining and optimisation.

Sales Manager

• Analysing sell throughs using Excel pivot tables and macros and monitoring and highlighting slow-selling stock in order to agree actions and set staff and store incentives as necessary with the Sales Manager.
• Seasonal shipping coordination to stockists via our warehouse.
• Stock levels reporting in order to support swaps, in-season top-ups and other sales activities as requested.
• Coordinating the timely handover of stockist POs to Production and subsequently managing the flow of information all the way to invoice and returns in our ERP system (Zedonk), with the support of Sales Manager.
• General customer service queries (chasing payments etc.)
• Managing and maintaining systems with extremely high level of accuracy
• Managing product data entry in linesheets, including wholesale costs, RRPs across various countries
• Communicate product delivery dates to Sales Manager
• Assist with preparation and analysis of sales history to build seasonal range plans
• Coordinate and support all administration duties related to market preparation for the sales team
• Maintain team calendar to ensure key dates and deadlines are highlighted
• Deliver any ad hoc administration and assistant duties to ensure smooth running of the team

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:
• Be a brand ambassador at every level, both in communication and professionalism.
• A Microsoft Excel geek with a natural ability to manipulate data to produce reports with accuracy and efficiency.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially the ability to communicate with international accounts. Bi-lingual desired.

The Sales Executive will support the execution of the sales strategy under the guidance of Sales Manager. The primary measure of success will be sales increase, though other key areas will development of a high-quality customer experience and connection with buyers. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of previous experience working in Sales and Merchandising within a luxury fashion retailer environment or a Showroom.

• Execute plans to broaden Monreal’s geographic reach in the UK, Europe, US and the Far East organically.
• Continually advise on best practice sales techniques and improvements appropriate to the business as it grows.
• Work with ecomm, product and design to ensure the critical path of is streamlined and realistic whilst ensuring that delivery windows are kept and adhered to season over season.
• Responsibilities will include:
o Monitor appointments during the selling season
o Analyse performance reports and review sell outs for relevant accounts
o Manage positioning of product in store to ensure the best sell out is achieved
o Store visits and Staff training
o Targeting new accounts for a successful growth through store visits and cold calling
o Reaching Sale Targets set between Sales Manager and COO
• Continuously manage and develop the customer base / accounts seasonally.
• Manage the free to sell stock, actively selling current stock throughout the selling season
• Supporting international sales channels, including wholesale and agents
• Manage store stock to ensure customers have good representation.
• Work with the Marketing team to coordinate promotional activities.
• Identify and represent the company at trade fairs and other networking / sale opportunities.

The Product Developer is responsible for bringing a product to life, by constructing it according to quality, price, MOQ, lead times and economies of scale (e.g. fabric use or mills fabric printing vs, factories).

Reports to:
Product Manager

• Create and maintain tech packs and BOMs. Continuously update and maintain the BOM throughout the product’s lifecycle.
• Work with Design to review material qualities that meet company standards.
• Work closely with Technical and Production to develop the seasonal collections put up by Design, to high quality, within target margins and according to critical path.
• Work with Technical to ensure functionality and quality of product. Attend proto fittings with Technical to certify samples are within the required design aesthetic.
• Partner with raw materials suppliers to maintain awareness of trends, innovative fibres, new technologies finishing techniques etc.
• Run the lab dip and tests program on all fabrics and trims.
• Manage the fabric library (dossiers, swatches, hangers etc.)

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for product presentation in Range Review meetings. Ensure all information is prepared, available and presented in a complete manner.
• 100% accurate development documentation for nominated fabrics and components, including specs, lab dips, test reports, commercial sheets, headers and proto notes.
• Ensure the Design department works to the critical path.
• Collect and communicate information (e.g. Commercial Sheets) and any product related issues to all relevant stakeholders.
• Update development trackers and make available for weekly meetings in order to ensure calendar dates and timelines are being adhered to. Advise technical and production of any possible problems that could affect lead times.
• Ensure that developments meet the brand identity and support the design team on comp shopping reports where necessary.
• Submit care label instructions and specifications and approve the label layouts for all products.

• Need to know different fabrics, washing, finishing and printing techniques
• Detail oriented and organized with strong follow through
• Negotiate prices with material suppliers
• Calculation of required fabric and trims for each season to cross check with factories
• Understands and is able to analyze in detail cost breakdowns from factories

Monreal is a fast-growing business with a rapidly increasing apparel based product offering for women. The current range includes contourwear, outerwear, loungewear and luggage. Monreal products are sourced from European manufacturers and mills.
As our product range increases so do our needs for professionals in the product creation area. This is a great opportunity for an entry level technologist to work in an experienced team. The role is reporting to the Technical Manager.

• Create technical and measurement specs and maintain grading and sizing rules for each garment type
• Measure and review prototypes and size sets before fitting to ensure they conform to size and construction specifications
• Attend fit meetings and document sample comments
• Communicate fit, quality and construction requirements to suppliers through sample comments
• Maintain consistency of quality and fit across suppliers and throughout the product range
• Coordinate all fittings from first proto through to final pre-production sample.
• Update tech packs and BOMs on our ERP (Zedonk), alongside the rest of the product team
• Run the wear-testing program. Organise and document wearer trials as needed and feed results back to the Design and Development team
• Work closely with design, development and production to ensure products are risk assessed in a timely manner
• Approve pre-production and SMS samples to ensure that product meets business expectations
• QA check of production quality & measurements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:
• A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Garment Technology or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• A good knowledge of garment construction methods and manufacturing sewing operations, including pattern making, grading and marking processes
• A working knowledge of materials, technical fabrics and functional aspects of garments
• Strong organizational skills to provide well documented products, thorough specifications, and meet deadlines
• Some experience of working with factories and an understanding of constraints and timescales is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and the MONREAL management team
• Support Development and Production in analysing cost breakdowns from factories
• Ability to anticipate technical problems and to plan and implement corrective action plan
• Ability and enthusiasm to grow and adapt within a fast-growing start-up business
• Ability to work under pressure to meet key deadlines
